Eliminate Single Use Plastic Bags?

On Wednesday, March 6, The Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee will be holding a public hearing on HB 560, a bill that proposes eliminating single use plastic bags. Stores would be allowed to use up their current inventory, but after that, only recyclable bags would be available at $.10 apiece. Of course, people could use their own shopping bags, as well.
